    Courtney Kane Ed. D. is a forward-thinking educational leader with a passion for empowering educators and students through STEAM and emerging technologies. She holds a STEAM Certification from UCR Extension (2018) and completed her dissertation titled "Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM) Education Implementation Perceived By Educators Upon STEAM Certification" (2024). Her commitment to innovation in education is further demonstrated by her AI Certification from the University of San Diego (2025). With a strong background in curriculum development, instructional leadership, and professional learning, Courtney bridges the gap between pedagogy and technology to create inclusive, future-ready learning environments.

    Kimberly Perez, M.A. is a seasoned technology professional and professor in Computer Information Systems at Fullerton College, where she specializes in teaching advanced topics in Artificial Intelligence. With over 20 years of experience in technology consulting, digital marketing, web design, and tech management, she brings a wealth of industry knowledge into the academic environment. Kimberly was a featured guest speaker at Fullerton College’s AI for Educators Summit, where she shared insights on the integration of AI into curriculum and classroom practice. She is currently leading the development of AI curriculum for the college’s upcoming programs in Computer Information Systems, helping shape the foundational structure of future AI education at the institution.

  • Brian Roach

    Brian Roach, M.A., M.S. is a distinguished cybersecurity professor, published author of Cyber Security Hygiene, and trusted technology consultant with over 25 years of experience advising organizations ranging from small businesses to Fortune 10 enterprises. His career spans both military and private sectors, including service as a Naval Intelligence Officer and as a founding member of the Joint Special Operations Command’s Tier 1 Cyber National Mission Force, where he helped shape national cyber defense strategies. His areas of expertise include Zero Trust Architecture, the NIST Cybersecurity Framework, endpoint protection, threat mitigation, and the implementation of scalable IT security solutions. At Fullerton College, he is the creator of both the Emerging Technologies Lab and the Cybersecurity curriculum, playing a pivotal role in preparing future professionals in cybersecurity and AI. Brian holds dual master’s degrees in Strategic Intelligence and Computer Information Systems, and maintains certifications in ITIL, Six Sigma, and SABSA. He is a passionate advocate for ethical AI, digital resilience, and workforce readiness.
